you can say what you need to say but I'll still believe that I'm okay in You with You Whoever said that we needed proof I can close my eyes and be someone new in You with You I don't want you to think this is something I wanted to be to You with You But there's something I hope you don't forget I Haven't Always Been Like This

Cycles 04:48
It would be easy to just shut you out But I don't have it in me I like having you around And I am a handful, sometimes a little tough And you don't need me, but darling you're what I want And when the lights go out, I'll figure what all this is about And you'll go out with all of your friends And I'm stuck on this road the cycle never ends And I am addicted to these things Sometimes I enjoy the hold they have on me And when the lights grow dim, the devil says he is my only friend I try hard to be a man of God With Truth in my heart, but the devil plays a part And wicked sin, over and again And it never stops til the day I drop and it never stops.

Stay With Me 05:16
It's 5 a.m. on my clock And I don't know why, but I cannot breathe I toss and turn in bed, while I'll wait for the sun to creep in And it's warm under these blankets but there's no other comfort besides this And I’ll stay with my hands in Yours And I'll get lost in this night, for sure And even though I can't keep my eyes open Will You stay with me You're so inviting And there's no way for me to say no You've got some tricks up your sleeves But please don't use them on me Cause baby I will give in faster than you can breathe and It's warm under these blankets but there's no other comfort besides this And I'll stay with my hands in Yours And I'll get lost in this night, for sure And even though I can't keep my eyes open Will You stay with me
4.
A Blizzard 03:33
A blizzard is coming But I don't know when So put on your coat and get ready for it Cause I know that I said this to you last week But you should know by now that this is me And everybody wants to know where I am going But everyone should know that I don't know Your body is flat And your skin is dry And it's hard for me to remember what I like I've been here before Your face isn't new Your sound is a song written with no tune And everybody wants to know where I am going But everyone should know that I don't know
5.
Hudson 03:21
I've been kind of struggling With the thought of you leaving me alone here And I’ve been patiently waiting for you to play things loud enough for us to hear And I have heard if you love things Don't hold on too tightly or they will disappear Days flow into nights slow But it gets easier when I occupy my time I keep moving, God it's how I do things With you out of my sight, but not out of my mind And I have seen myself become somebody I'm not, someone I'm not
6.
You've come down to me I can tell But you don't know what I think There's Hope Cause I just think other things that slope In other directions that other minds don't want to go My mother taught me how to pray to God but somehow I forgot Like most things I don't think, listen, or have much thought I feel alone And you've noticed, and you know this can't be what we want Help us God Cause I just think other things that slope In other directions that other minds don't want to go

about

This is our second Ep, and it's titled "I Haven't Always Been Like This." It's a statement that will remind us of the work, time, and struggles that we have gone through to be where we are as musicians, christians, and as people. We're still learning of who we're supposed to be and what we're supposed to do, and it's a blessing to be able to grow and work through these things together.
